The 365 Days Project Video Podcast

It’s past midnight and I’m tired. Saturday night Mav and I filmed the show and I’ve spent pretty much all of today editing it. But I think everyone will enjoy the show.

You might ask yourself, “Why is this Episode 0a?”. Well, it’s our 2nd show, (our first being epidsode 0) but we begin number one ending on the first week of the year.

 But that doesn’t mean the show isn’t full of goodies. We asked those of you already in the 365 Days pool to submit your favorite self portrait of 2007. Mav and I each chose 5 and give our reasons for doing so. Below is a link back to our post in the 365 Days forum. Be sure to check these guys out.

I’m very close to launching the new podcast, but I need to get my ducks in a row first. Namely I need to get listed in iTunes. So I’m uploading the show opening to get it listed. The pre-season show should be up tomorrow.

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Stephen Poff. I began a little project back on January 1st of 2006 called the 365 Days Visual Diary. Basically it began as a photo a day for an entire year posted on the photo sharing site flickr. Soon I began posting little diary entries to go along with my photos.

During the course of the year others became interested in doing a project of their own and now it’s grown into something much larger. In 2007 I took a break from the project, but I have decided to begin the project again for 2008. In addition to my visual diary, I will be including this video podcast to highlight others who are participating and to give some advice along the way. If you’re new to this idea, I hope that you’ll pick up your camera and begin your own 365 Days Project.

 Stephen
